The first batch of rejection letters have now gone out today to individuals who submitted story proposals for the forthcoming Temporal Logbook II. Over the next several weeks we will be sending email’s to each person who submitted a proposal regarding the status of their proposal (this includes stories not being used, and those being used).
Please note that if you have not received a rejection letter as of yet, this could mean that:
- we have not yet sent one out to you
- we have not yet assessed your story
- or, your story may likely have been accepted for inclusion
This process will likely take sometime to complete, but we are hoping to have contacted everyone by the end of September/early October. In the meantime, please do not contact Pencil Tip if you have not yet heard from us. We will advise when all correspondence has been sent out.
Greetings all. Thought we’d post a quick update regarding the status of the TTL2 story proposal reviews. Unfortunately this is taking longer than expected. We received quite a large number of submissions – more than what was expected – and combined with other projects in progress at the same time, sadly, we’re somewhat behind in our assessments.
The reality for the majority of those of us involved with PTP is that this is not our regular 9-5 employment. Each of us have other outside commitments such as a regular day job, spouses/partners, families, etc. Sadly there is only so many hours in the day. Much of what each of us do for PTP is done in our spare personal time.
While this may seem like an excuse to you our humble readers and contributors, but we wanted to explain things so that there are no misunderstandings. We appreciate your interest in the Temporal Logbook II and look forward to your continued support. We are addressing the backlog as quickly as we can. In the meantime, we apologize for this inconvenience, and hope you will understand and bare with us while we try and clear the backlog of assessments. We will be in touch as soon as we can.
